Comments: This is effectively
our 110+hp 883 conversion package as applied to a 1200, with one big difference: it still has the stock, unmodified throttle body.
In our testing, a simple porting service on the stock throttle body is good for about 5 horsepower at this level.
We're anxious to get our hands on it and find him some more power!

Comments: this is the final result from the development of our 120+hp conversion package. This package raises the bar yet again for bolt-on Sportster performance!
Although we got this result with prepared 883 heads, at this level it doesn't matter whether you start with 883 or 04+ 1200 head castings, the end result is totally equivalent. So the 120+ package, just like the 110+
package, can be applied to either an 883 or an 04+ 1200 and the package is identical either way. For 2003 and earlier 1200's, you'll need to replace your head castings to get to this level.

Comments: D&D revised their Bobcat exhaust for 2014. The new version has a massive reversion centered around 5800rpm. This limited the main jet that could be put into the bike, because the AFR was going so rich right there. A little more power on top is available if the exhaust reversion can be eliminated.

Comments: These are the results of our R&D efforts with SLEDGE head porting. The blue pull has "SLEDGE PLUS" EFI 1200 heads, which means they received some welding that
allowed us to reshape the intake ports for better flow. It also has an HPI 55mm throttle body that we ported. The red pull is our standard SLEDGE head service on EFI 1200 heads
with a ported factory throttle body & manifold. And finally, the green pull is a set of our standard SLEDGE ported EFI 883 heads, again with the ported factory throttle body & manifold.
SLEDGE porting of your 883 heads is a very cost effective way to reach these upper levels: once your 883 heads SLEDGE ported, they're very bit as good as SLEDGE ported 1200 heads.

the latest and greatest XR1200/XB12 crank assembly via a new machining service that HAMMER PERFORMANCE is offering for
91-03 XL's. This much improved crank is lighter and stronger than his original crank, uses a 1.5" crank pin
for more big end durability and resistance to spread, and has stronger connecting rods as well. It also costs less than

Comments: Terry home-tuned his bike by seat-of-the pants. He then went to a dyno shootout at a dealer and entered. With no tuning on
the dyno, he got this result within a handful of pulls. Not only did he win first place in his class, but the HD techs were so
impressed that they gave him the "Technicians Choice Award", beating out other bikes with turbochargers and superchargers. I bet they had never
seen a street driven, pump gas friendly, normally aspirated Sportster pull a number like that! Still climbing when it got into the limiter too.

Comments: An updated chart from the bike below, the differences being a) we swapped the pistons to
our trick 30 Degree Reverse Dome versions and machined the chambers
to match, b) we upgraded the valve
springs to our premium PAC Alloy pieces so we could spin it higher, and c) we
ported the intake manifold. As you can see, these changes added almost 5hp!
It's still mechanically every bit as quiet as the stock bike, has good manners, and is smooth. This is not a radical package at all.

Comments: Many people ask us if their 883 heads are viable power-producers when doing a conversion. This chart should answer that question!
This is a very low cost package as it uses not only the original 883 heads but also the stock lifters, pushrods, rockers, valve springs, throttle body & manifold, coil, etc.
It's a pump gas street motor with 10.5:1 compression with mild cams that are easy on the valvetrain. It's mechanically every bit as quiet as the stock bike and has great
low speed manners and smoothness. But when you crank that throttle open, you better be hanging on!
